How we got to the finished job
Researched on google etc to find some company's to give me a quote I tried 4 different company's
Sent email to first company as they told me over the phone they did not come out but wanted photo,s by email I did this (never replied)
Phoned another company he came round very quickly but was £4500 more than I expected
Next tried company that does it by google earth and told me my roof was to small to get panels on (rubbish)
Then made an appointment with the firm I had it done with a very nice man called peter who came as asked to three days latter he was quite new to the job but was very helpful and had most of the answers I wanted to know and found out about the ones he did not we talked about how we wanted panels to fit and electric etc which was £9995 plus £500 for scaffold as you can see from pictures was hard to get to he went away telling me that if I wanted panels I would need to pay 25% deposit I thought about it for couple of days then decided to go for it paid the deposit over the phone, about two weeks latter a surveyor came and made sure that roof was OK for the panels etc he was also on time and very helpful.
As they are very busy booked me in for my panels to be fitted(4 week wait)while I was waiting I had a few more questions which peter was always very helpful in answering.
Scaffolding was erected on saturday ready for panels to be fitted on Monday.
Fitters turned up 8am Monday morning It was very windy and I thought they may not arrive they said no worries made them a coffee and away the three of them went, about 9.30am electricians arrived fitted and explianed about the invertor etc and filled in my forms for electricity company for my payments about 2 o'clock they left all done and working to do another job(our roof had small tiles so it took at bit longer than normal.
