The Photo does not do it just, It is not until you receive the sundial that you appreciate the actual work that has gone into the design of the dial face. The colour being a powder blue to green, the edge of the indicator is in shiny brass as is the roman numerals. but it is the frogs on the Lilly pads which gives the impression that they are waiting for some insect to pass by. the centre of the dial face has wavy lines for the water which does not impede the operation of the indicator. it arrives flat pack the only work needed is to screw the indicator to the dial (all of ten seconds). When you order this order a plinth for it to sit on which compliment's the sundial. over all you will not be disappointed with the sundial. Brilliant
